10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Grace and peace to you in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we
conclude our Ephesians series, we are reminded that the Christian life and spiritual
battle are not centered on the enemy, the struggle, or the armor itself but on Jesus.
우리 주 예수 그리스도의 능력 있는 이름으로 여러분에게 은혜와 평강이
있기를 바랍니다. 오늘 에베소서 시리즈를 마무리하면서, 우리는
그리스도인의 삶과 영적 전쟁의 중심이 원수도, 싸움도, 갑옷 자체도 아니라
오직 예수님이라는 사실을 다시 기억하게 됩니다.
This message urges us away from relying on self-effort and back into the rest,
strength, and victory that come only from abiding in Christ. Scripture doesn’t tell
us to become strong on our own, but to be strong in the Lord and His mighty
power. The believer doesn’t stand in battle because of their own strength; they
stand because Jesus is their strength. Paul’s teaching about the armor of God isn’t
an invitation to obsess over spiritual gear; it’s an invitation to be clothed with the
character and life of Jesus.
이 말씀은 우리를 자기 노력의 무게에서 돌려세워, 그리스도 안에 거할 때만
누릴 수 있는 안식과 힘, 승리로 돌아가게 합니다. 성경은 우리 스스로
강해지라고 말하지 않습니다. “주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강해지라”고
말합니다. 신자는 자신의 힘으로 서 있는 것이 아니라 예수님이 우리의
힘이시기 때문에 서 있는 것입니다. 바울이 말한 하나님의 전신갑주는
장비에 집착하라는 초대가 아니라, 예수님의 성품과 생명으로 옷 입으라는
초대입니다.
The belt of truth points to Christ, who is truth. The breastplate of righteousness
points to Christ, who is our righteousness. The shoes of peace point to Christ, who
is our peace. The shield of faith points to Christ, who is the author and finisher of
faith. The helmet of salvation points to Christ, who is our salvation. The sword of

the Spirit points to Christ, the living Word of God. Spiritual warfare isn’t primarily
about mastering techniques, rebukes, or strategies; it’s about remaining deeply
rooted in the person of Jesus.
진리의 허리띠는 진리이신 그리스도를 가리킵니다. 의의 흉배는 우리의 의가
되시는 그리스도를 가리킵니다. 평안의 신은 평안이신 그리스도를
가리킵니다. 믿음의 방패는 믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이이신
그리스도를 가리킵니다. 구원의 투구는 구원이신 그리스도를 가리킵니다.
성령의 검은 살아 계신 하나님의 말씀, 곧 그리스도를 가리킵니다. 영적
전쟁은 테크닉이나 전략을 마스터하는 것이 아니라, 예수님께 깊이 뿌리를
내리는 것입니다.
Those who cling to Christ, love Christ, listen to Christ, and obey Christ cannot be
defeated. In this message, we are reminded that the enemy does not fear Christians
who simply carry a label or vocabulary of Christianity. He does not fear people
who attend church but neglect intimacy with God. He does not fear believers who
sing songs but refuse to surrender.
그리스도를 붙들고, 그리스도를 사랑하고, 그리스도의 음성에 귀 기울이고,
그리스도의 말씀에 순종하는 사람은 결코 패배하지 않습니다. 원수는 단순히
‘기독교 용어’를 아는 사람을 두려워하지 않습니다. 예배는 드리지만
하나님과의 친밀함을 잃어버린 사람도 두려워하지 않습니다. 찬양은 하지만
삶의 주권을 내어드리지 않는 사람도 두려워하지 않습니다.
Hell trembles when a believer stays rooted in Jesus, with Christ as the center of the
mind, the anchor of the heart, and the Lord of every decision. Satan’s main goal is
to disconnect believers from the presence of Jesus because he knows that when
fellowship with Christ weakens, fear increases, temptation gains strength, and the
believer’s voice becomes silent.
지옥이 떨리는 순간은 바로 성도가 예수님 안에 깊이 뿌리내릴 때입니다.
마음의 중심에 그리스도가 계시고, 마음의 닻이 그리스도에게 고정되고, 모든

결정을 주께 맡길 때입니다. 사탄의 가장 큰 목표는 신자를 예수님의
임재에서 떼어놓는 것입니다. 왜냐하면 그리스도와의 교제가 약해지면
두려움이 커지고, 유혹이 강해지고, 신자의 목소리가 잠잠해지기
때문입니다.
But when Jesus remains on the throne of a believer’s life, the devil has no strategy
that can stand. This passage also teaches us that spiritual warfare isn’t a sign of
abandonment; it’s a sign of calling. Battles get harder when the believer grows in
devotion, purity, prayer, holiness, and obedience. The enemy pushes hardest
against those who are becoming the most dangerous to darkness.
그러나 예수님이 신자의 삶의 보좌에 계시면, 마귀에게 설 수 있는 전략은 단
하나도 없습니다.또한 이 구절은 영적 전쟁이 버림받았다는 증거가 아니라,
부르심의 증거라는 것을 가르칩니다. 신자가 헌신, 순결, 기도, 거룩,
순종에서 성장할수록 전쟁은 더 치열해집니다. 왜냐하면 원수는 어둠에게
위협이 되는 사람에게 가장 강하게 밀어붙이기 때문입니다.
Therefore, the fight you face isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s evidence that God has
placed a calling, anointing, and purpose on your life. The command to stand firm
isn’t a call to enjoy the battle but to stay unshaken because Christ is with us in the
fight.
그러므로 지금 여러분이 마주하는 싸움은 연약함의 표지가 아니라,
하나님께서 여러분의 삶에 부르심과 기름부으심과 목적을 두셨다는
증거입니다. “굳건히 서라”는 명령은 싸움을 즐기라는 뜻이 아니라,
그리스도께서 싸움 가운데 함께하시기 때문에 흔들리지 말라는 것입니다.
The armor doesn’t make us spiritually impressive; it keeps us hidden in Christ, so
His power becomes ours and His victory defines our identity. As we finish the
Ephesians series, we are reminded that we are not spiritual victims but soldiers of
Christ.

전신갑주는 우리를 영적으로 대단해 보이게 만드는 장비가 아니라, 우리를
그리스도 안에 숨겨 주는 보호막입니다. 그분의 능력이 우리의 능력이 되고,
그분의 승리가 우리의 정체성이 됩니다. 에베소서 시리즈의 마지막에서

We stand not to earn victory but to display the victory Jesus already won on the
cross. Our shield isn’t our discipline; it’s Christ. Our strength isn’t our personality;
it’s Christ. Our courage isn’t our emotion; it’s Christ.
우리는 승리를 얻기 위해 서 있는 것이 아니라, 예수님이 이미 십자가에서
이루신 승리를 드러내기 위해 서 있는 것입니다. 우리의 방패는 우리의
규율이 아니라 그리스도입니다. 우리의 힘은 우리의 성격이 아니라
그리스도입니다. 우리의 용기는 우리의 감정이 아니라 그리스도입니다.
The final word of the Christian isn’t fear, exhaustion, or defeat. The final word is
Jesus, the One who strengthens, protects, defends, sustains, and never loses a
battle.
그리스도인의 마지막 말은 두려움이나 탈진이나 패배가 아닙니다.
마지막 말은 언제나 예수님입니다. 우리를 강하게 하시고, 보호하시고,
지키시고, 붙드시는 분— 그리고 결코 패배하지 않으시는 분.
