30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[A] of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.”

34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again.

“Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench.

36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!”

“Altars Without Fire”

Last Sunday, we were reminded that Acts 29 is still being written not with ink, but
through the lives of believers who surrender daily to Jesus Christ. Every prayer we
pray, every act of obedience we offer, and every word of witness we speak
becomes a line in God’s ongoing story. But this week, we were confronted with an
important question: if our life is to be part of that next chapter, does the altar of our
heart still have fire?
지난주 우리는 사도행전 29 장은 여전히 기록되고 있다는 것을

The early Church in Acts had no grand buildings, social media platforms, or
sophisticated programs, yet they turned the world upside down because they were
filled with the flame of God’s presence. Without that flame, the story slows down.
Without it, Acts Chapter 29 becomes nothing more than words on a page, lacking
the power that changes lives.
사도행전 속 초대교회는 웅장한 건물도, 소셜미디어 플랫폼도, 세련된
프로그램도 없었지만, 하나님의 임재의 불로 충만했기에 세상을 뒤집어
놓았습니다. 그 불이 없으 이야기는 느려집니다. 그 불이 없으면, 사도행전
29 장은 삶을 변화시키는 능력 없는 단지 글자에 불과해집니다.
In the days of Elijah, the nation of Israel had turned away from God and embraced
idols. The altar of the Lord lay in ruins, stones scattered, sacrifices stopped, hearts

turned away. On Mount Carmel, before Elijah ever prayed for fire, he repaired the
altar stone by stone.
엘리야 시대에, 이스라엘 백성은 하나님을 떠나 우상을 섬겼습니다.
여호와의 제단은 무너져 있었고, 돌은 흩어져 있었으며, 제사는 멈췄고,

This is a picture of what God desires in us: the altar must be restored before the fire
will fall. In the Bible, the altar was the place where heaven met earth, where people
brought their sacrifice, sought God’s mercy, and experienced His presence. In our
day, that altar is not made of stone or gold, it is found in the heart of every
believer.
이것은 하나님께서 우리 안에서 원하시는 모습입니다. 불이 임하기 전에
제단이 먼저 회복되어야 합니다. 성경에서 제단은 하늘과 땅이 만나는

God’s fire represents His manifest presence and power. It is not human excitement
or emotional hype. It is the holy flame that purifies sin, burns away pride, fills us
with boldness, and makes our faith alive. Throughout Scripture, fire is the sign of
God showing up: the burning bush where Moses was called, Mount Sinai where
His holiness was revealed, the Temple where His acceptance of sacrifice was
confirmed, and the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came with tongues of
fire.
하나님의 불은 그분의 나타나신 임재와 능력을 의미합니다. 그것은 사람의
흥분이나 감정적인 고조가 아닙니다. 그것은 죄를 정결케 하고, 교만을 태워

Without God’s flame, church becomes routine, worship becomes empty ritual, and
service becomes a performance aimed at impressing people instead of pleasing
God. With His flame, even the simplest act of obedience can carry eternal impact.
하나님의 불이 없으면, 교회는 형식이 되고, 예배는 공허한 의식이 되며,
섬김은 하나님을 기쁘시게 하기보다 사람을 감동시키려는 공연이 됩니다.
그러나 그분의 불이 있으면, 가장 단순한 순종의 행위조차도 영원한 영향을

The danger of a fireless altar is real. Israel still had priests, sacrifices, and religious
rituals, but without the fire, all of it was hollow. In the same way, we can maintain
church activities and traditions while our hearts grow cold.
불 없는 제단의 위험은 현실입니다. 이스라엘에는 여전히 제사장과 제사,
종교적인 의식이 있었지만, 불이 없으니 모든 것이 공허했습니다.

We can create an atmosphere that looks like fire, but God knows the difference
between the flame He sends and the one we manufacture. Nadab and Abihu
learned this painfully when they offered “unauthorized fire” in Leviticus 10 and
they were struck down. God is not looking for imitation fire; He is looking for
hearts that are consecrated so that His real flame can fall.
우리는 불처럼 보이는 분위기를 만들 수 있지만, 하나님은 그분이 보내신

Under the New Covenant, we are now the altar. Romans 12:1 tells us to “offer
your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is your true and
proper worship.” Your heart is the meeting place with God. Your obedience is the
flame. Your life is the offering.
새 언약 아래에서 우리는 이제 제단입니다. 로마서 12 장 1 절은 “너희 몸을
하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리라 이는 너희가 드릴 영적
예배니라”라고 말합니다. 여러분의 마음이 하나님과 만나는 자리입니다.

When our altar is cold, we cannot expect the presence of God to burn brightly
through us. I shared the story of a man whose faith had grown cold. Outwardly, he
was still present in church and involved in service, but inwardly, the fire had gone
out. One night, in prayer, he told God, “I’m tired of pretending light my heart
again.” From that moment, he began waking early to pray, speaking about Jesus
openly at work, and worshipping with joy. His life became a burning altar once
more, and others could see the difference.
우리 제단이 차갑다면, 하나님의 임재가 우리를 통해 강하게 타오르기를
기대할 수 없습니다. 저는 믿음이 식어버린 한 남자의 이야기를 나눴습니다.
겉으로는 여전히 교회에 나오고 봉사에 참여했지만, 속으로는 불이 꺼져
있었습니다. 어느 날 밤 그는 기도하며 하나님께 이렇게 말했습니다. “더는
가장하고 싶지 않습니다. 제 마음에 다시 불을 붙여 주십시오.” 그 순간부터
그는 새벽에 일어나 기도하기 시작했고, 직장에서 예수님을 담대히

So how do we restore the fire? Scripture gives us a pattern.
First, we must repair the altar return to prayer, God’s Word, and intimate
fellowship with Him.
그렇다면 어떻게 불을 회복할 수 있을까요? 성경은 그 패턴을 보여줍니다.
첫째, 제단을 수리해야 합니다 기도와 하나님의 말씀, 그분과의 친밀한
교제로 돌아가야 합니다
Second, we must lay down true sacrifice surrender what costs us something,
whether pride, plans, or personal comfort.
둘째, 진정한 제물을 올려야 합니다 교만, 계획, 개인적 편안함 등 우리에게
대가가 따르는 것을 내려놓아야 합니다.
Third, we must pray and wait trusting God to send the flame in His timing, rather
than trying to manufacture it ourselves.
셋째, 기도하고 기다려야 합니다 불을 억지로 만들지 말고 하나님의 때를
신뢰해야 합니다.
Fourth, we must guard the flame Leviticus 6:13 commands, “The fire must be kept
burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” That means feeding our
spiritual life daily with worship, Scripture, and obedience, while guarding against
distractions and compromise.
넷째, 불을 지켜야 합니다 레위기 6 장 13 절은 “제단 위의 불은 꺼지지 않게
하라”고 명령합니다. 이는 예배, 말씀, 순종으로 매일 우리의 영적 삶에

At the heart of all this is the gospel. There is no fire without Jesus. He is the Lamb
who went to the altar of the Cross for us, and He alone baptizes with the Holy
Spirit and fire. The fire we long for is not found in trying harder, but in drawing
nearer to Him.

This week’s challenge is practical: set aside daily time with God without
distraction, fast from one thing that steals your focus, and share your testimony
with someone who needs encouragement. Do not settle for a cold altar. Let God
rebuild and relight your heart until His flame burns so brightly that the world
cannot ignore it.
이번 주의 도전은 실천적입니다. 매일 방해 없이 하나님과 시간을 보내고,
집중을 빼앗는 한 가지를 금기하며, 격려가 필요한 누군가에게 여러분의
간증을 나누십시오. 차가운 제단에 만족하지 마십시오. 하나님께서 여러분의
마음을 다시 세우고 불을 붙이셔서, 그분의 불이 세상이 외면할 수 없을 만큼

23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus. 24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe. 25 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet:

26 “‘Go to this people and say,
“You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
    you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.”
27 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
    they hardly hear with their ears,
    and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[A]

28 “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” 29 [B]

30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. 31 He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!

ACTS 29: I Am the Next Chapter

The Book of Acts ends without an ending. No grand finale. No tidy conclusion. The
curtain doesn’t close it stays open. Why? Because the story wasn’t just about Paul. It was
about the Gospel going forth through Spirit-filled people. And it still is.
사도행전은 결말 없이 끝난다. 화려한 피날레도, 깔끔한 결론도 없다. 막이 닫히지
않고 열린 채로 남는다. 왜일까? 이야기가 바울만에 관한 것이 아니었기 때문이다.
그것은 성령으로 충만한 사람들을 통해 나아가는 복음에 관한 것이었고, 지금도
그렇다.
Acts 28 leaves us standing at the edge of a page that begs to be continued not by another
apostle, but by you. That’s why this message is titled “Acts 29: I Am the Next Chapter.”
It’s not a fictional chapter, it’s a living one, unfolding in your life, your calling, your
obedience.
사도행전 28장은 사도들 중에 또 다른 사람이 아니라 바로 당신이 이어가야 할
페이지 끝자락에 우리를 세워둔다. 그래서 이 설교의 제목은 “사도행전 29: 나는
다음 장이다”이다. 그것은 허구의 장이 아니라, 당신의 삶과 부르심, 순종 속에서
펼쳐지고 있는 살아있는 장이다.
I. The Gospel Is Still Being Preached (v. 23)
I. 복음은 여전히 전파되고 있다 (23절)
Paul was bound by chains, confined to a house arrest in Rome. He can’t travel. He can’t
escape. But the Gospel isn’t chained. It flows from him like fire. People come from all
over to hear him Jews, seekers, skeptics. From morning until evening, he opens the
Scriptures, connecting the Law of Moses to Jesus Christ. The setting may be limited, but
the Word is limitless.
바울은 쇠사슬에 묶여 로마에서 가택연금 상태에 있었다. 그는 여행할 수 없었고,
탈출할 수도 없었다. 그러나 복음은 묶이지 않았다. 불길처럼 그에게서 흘러나왔다.

Here’s the question: What have you done with the Gospel in your confinement? When
life boxed you in emotionally, financially, physically did the Gospel still burn through
you? Paul turned prison into a pulpit. Will you do the same?
여러분께 물어보겠다 : 당신의 ‘갇힘’ 속에서 복음으로 무엇을 했는가? 인생이
당신을 감정적으로, 경제적으로, 육체적으로 가두었을 때, 복음은 여전히 당신을

Your kitchen table can be a mission field. Your suffering can become someone’s
salvation story. The Gospel doesn’t need stages; it needs surrendered lives.

수 있다. 복음은 무대가 아니라, 온전히 드려진 삶을 필요로 한다.
II. Some Will Believe, Some Will Reject (vv. 24–25)

After all Paul’s effort, Luke records a simple outcome: some believed, others didn’t. This
reminds us: success in ministry is not measured by response, but by obedience. You will
preach, post, serve, love and some will listen. Others won’t. That’s not failure. That’s
faithfulness.
바울이 모든 노력을 다한 뒤, 누가는 단순한 결론을 기록한다: 믿는 이도 있고, 믿지
않는 이도 있었다. 이것은 우리에게 상기시킨다. 사역의 성공은 반응으로 측정되지

Paul didn’t stop because some rejected him. He kept preaching. Why? Because he knew
the Gospel’s power wasn’t tied to human applause it was tied to divine appointment.
바울은 거부당했다고 멈추지 않았다. 그는 계속 설교했다. 왜냐하면 그는 복음의
능력이 사람들의 박수에 달린 것이 아니라, 하나님의 예정에 달려 있다는 것을

Let this be your conviction: “Even if one believes, I will speak. Even if none applaud, I
will obey.”

III. The Holy Spirit Still Speaks (vv. 25–27)

In response to rejection, Paul quotes Isaiah 6:10 a passage about people who see but don’t
perceive, hear but don’t understand. But notice what Paul says next: “The Holy Spirit
spoke the truth.” Not spoke in the past tense but still speaks.
거부에 대한 반응으로, 바울은 이사야 6:10을 인용한다. 보아도 깨닫지 못하고,
들어도 이해하지 못하는 사람들에 대한 말씀이다. 그러나 주목하라. 바울은 이렇게
말한다: “성령이 진리로 말씀하셨다.” 과거형이 아니라, 현재형이다.
The Spirit hasn’t gone quiet since Pentecost. He’s still whispering in hearts, still calling
prodigals home, still convicting sinners and commissioning saints. And He’s speaking to
you right now.
성령은 오순절 이후 침묵하지 않으셨다. 지금도 마음에 속삭이시고, 돌아온 탕자를
부르시며, 죄인을 책망하고 성도를 파송하신다. 그리고 지금 당신에게 말씀하신다.
Are you listening?
The Holy Spirit is not an idea or a goosebump. He is the active voice of God who turns
ordinary people into history-makers. If you want to be Acts 29, you must tune your life to
the frequency of His voice.
당신은 듣고 있는가?
성령은 개념이나 전율이 아니다. 그는 평범한 사람들을 역사 속의 인물로 바꾸시는

IV. The Gospel Must Go Beyond Our Circles (v. 28)

When Paul says, “This salvation has been sent to the Gentiles and they will listen,” he’s
drawing a bold line in the sand. The Gospel was never meant to stay in Jerusalem. It was
never meant to stay in comfort zones, cultural bubbles, or safe spaces. It was always
meant to go.
바울이 “이 구원이 이방인에게로 보내졌으니 그들은 들을 것이다”라고 말할 때,
그는 모래에 굵은 선을 긋는다. 복음은 예루살렘에만 머물도록 의도되지 않았다.

This verse is your permission slip to break boundaries. Take the Gospel outside your
church, your culture, your assumptions. Go to those who feel unreachable, unworthy,
unloved and proclaim: “Jesus sees you. Jesus calls you. Jesus saves.”
이 구절은 당신에게 경계선을 넘어가라는 허가증이다. 복음을 교회 밖으로, 문화
밖으로, 당신의 가정된 생각 밖으로 가져가라. 닿을 수 없다고 느끼는 자, 가치

Acts 29 is not a safe chapter. It’s a risky one. A radical one. It’s about crossing lines for
the sake of the cross.

V. The Mission Continues Unhindered (v. 31)
V. 사명은 막힘 없이 계속된다 (31절)
The final words of Acts are loaded: “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught
about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” Rome couldn’t
silence him. Chains couldn’t confine him. The mission continued boldly, freely,
supernaturally.
사도행전의 마지막 구절은 강력하다: “그는 담대히 조금도 금하지 아니하고
하나님의 나라를 전파하며 주 예수 그리스도에 관한 것을 가르치더라.” 로마도,

This is a divine declaration: nothing can stop the Gospel not prisons, not pandemics, not
persecution, not politics. And if God’s Word is unstoppable, then you are part of
something eternal.
이것은 신적 선언이다: 어떤 것도 복음을 멈출 수 없다. 감옥도, 팬데믹도, 박해도,
정치도. 그리고 하나님의 말씀이 멈출 수 없다면, 당신은 영원한 것의 일부다.
Say it aloud: “I am part of a mission that cannot be stopped. I will live, preach, and love
without hindrance.”

VI. Your Life Is the Next Chapter

The Book of Acts was written with ink but Acts 29 is written with lives. You are not just
reading Scripture you are becoming it. The same Spirit that filled Peter at Pentecost and
Paul in prison now fills you. The same commission to go, heal, baptize, and preach now
belongs to you.
사도행전은 잉크로 기록되었지만, 사도행전 29는 삶으로 기록된다. 당신은 단순히
성경을 읽는 것이 아니라, 그것이 되어가고 있다. 오순절에 베드로를, 감옥에서
바울을 채우신 그 성령이 지금 당신 안에 거하신다. 가서, 치유하고, 세례 주고,
전파하라는 동일한 명령이 이제 당신에게 주어졌다.
You are not an afterthought in God’s story. You are a chapter in it. The question is: What
will be written through you? Will your life echo the same power, surrender, and fire that
marked the early Church?

Don’t just admire the Book of Acts continue it.

VII. Speak, Write, Live Like You’re the Next Page

Let this settle deep: you don’t need to be perfect to be part of Acts 29. You just need to
say “yes.” Your obedience writes revival. Your testimony breaks chains. Your daily
surrender becomes a holy manuscript.
마음을 깊이 새겨라: 사도행전 29의 일부가 되기 위해 완벽할 필요는 없다. 단지
“예”라고 말하면 된다. 당신의 순종이 부흥을 기록한다. 당신의 간증이 쇠사슬을

So, speak boldly. Love recklessly. Forgive radically. Preach powerfully. Pray fervently.
Serve faithfully.

Because the world is reading. And heaven is watching.

21 After they had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them and said: “Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage and loss. 22 But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. 23 Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me 24 and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ 25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me. 26 Nevertheless, we must run aground on some island.”
27 On the fourteenth night we were still being driven across the Adriatic[C] Sea, when about midnight the sailors sensed they were approaching land. 28 They took soundings and found that the water was a hundred and twenty feet[D] deep. A short time later they took soundings again and found it was ninety feet[E] deep. 29 Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight. 30 In an attempt to escape from the ship, the sailors let the lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were going to lower some anchors from the bow. 31 Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.” 32 So the soldiers cut the ropes that held the lifeboat and let it drift away.

You’re not sitting in a sermon. You’re sitting in a storm. Not the kind that’s forecasted on weather apps, but the kind no one else sees. The kind where your prayers feel like whispers against thunder. The kind where the waves don’t just hit your boat, they hit your soul.

여러분은 지금 설교를 들으러 앉아 있는 것이 아닙니다. 여러분은 폭풍 가운데 앉아 있는 것입니다. 일기예보에 예측되는 그런 폭풍이 아니라, 아무도 모르는 폭풍.
기도는 천둥 속에 묻히는 속삭임 같고, 파도는 단지 배를 넘치는 것이 아니라, 당신의 영혼까지 내리칩니다.

Some storms come from bad decisions. Others come for no reason at all. But this much is true: you’ve tried everything, and nothing has calmed the wind. You’ve stopped asking “Why?” and started asking “Will I survive this?” And just when all hope seems gone, He speaks.

어떤 폭풍은 우리의 실수에서 오고, 어떤 것은 이유 없이 다가옵니다.

That’s where we find Paul in Acts 27. For fourteen relentless days, he and 275 others were trapped in a merciless storm. No food. No daylight. No hope. The Bible says, “We finally gave up all hope of being saved” (v.20).

사도행전 27장, 14일 동안 바울과 275명은 거센 풍랑에 갇혔습니다.

These weren’t amateurs these were professional sailors, Roman soldiers, and hardened men. But even the strongest hearts can collapse under silence. And then, in the middle of it all, Paul stood up not as a survivor, but as a messenger.

이들은 초보자들이 아닙니다.
선원들이었고, 로마 병사들이었고, 인생에 익숙한 자들이었습니다.
하지만 아무리 단단한 마음도, 침묵 앞에서는 무너질 수 있습니다.

His voice cut through the chaos: “Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete… but now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed” (vv.21–22).

그는 선포합니다.
“여러분, 내가 크레타에서 출항하지 말자고 한 말을 들었어야 했습니다. 그러나 이제는 용기를 내십시오. 여러분 중 한 사람도 목숨을 잃지 않을 것입니다. 오직 이 배만 부서질 것입니다.” (21–22절)

Why such boldness? Because Paul had received something stronger than wind a Word from God. He said, “Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you’” (vv.23–24).

왜 이렇게 담대할 수 있었을까요? 바람보다 강한 것, 하나님의 말씀을 받았기 때문입니다.
그는 말합니다.
“어젯밤, 내가 속하고 내가 섬기는 하나님의 천사가 내 곁에 서서 말했습니다.

This is the turning point. The storm didn’t stop but God spoke. And that Word was enough. 이것이 전환점입니다.

Paul’s faith wasn’t manufactured it was anchored. He declared, “I have faith in God that it will happen just as He told me” (v.25). This wasn’t blind hope it was Spirit-born certainly. As Romans 10:17 reminds us, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Paul didn’t need a change in circumstances he needed confirmation from heaven.

바울의 믿음은 억지로 만들어낸 희망이 아니라, 하늘의 확신이었습니다.

But the story doesn’t stop with comfort. It moves into conviction. When some of the crew tried to abandon the ship secretly, Paul didn’t hesitate. He warned, “Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved” (v.31)..

그런데 여기서 이야기는 위로에서 끝나지 않습니다. 순종으로 이어집니다.
몇몇 선원들이 몰래 도망치려 할 때, 바울은 단호하게 말합니다.

Wait didn’t God already promise they’d survive. Yes. But here’s what many don’t want to hear: God’s promises require obedience. You can’t receive a Word and then run from the instructions that come with it.

잠깐, 하나님은 모두가 살아남는다고 약속하셨잖아요? 맞습니다.
하지만 여기서 우리가 놓치지 말아야 할 진리가 있습니다:
하나님의 약속은 우리의 순종과 연결되어 있습니다.

Too many today want divine outcomes without divine order. We want the rescue but reject the restraint. We want peace without process. But in God’s kingdom, the promise and the path are never separated

This sermon is for anyone who’s in that same space right now tired, tossed, and wondering if the storm will ever break. Maybe you’ve been trying to find your own lifeboat, your own plan B, your own secret exit from the pain.

이 말씀은 지금 바로 폭풍 속에 있는 누군가에게 주시는 하나님의 음성입니다.
지치고, 흔들리고, 이 상황이 끝나기는 할까 하는 마음으로 버티고 있는 당신.
어쩌면 당신은 자신만의 구명보트를 찾고 있을지 모릅니다.
자신만의 ‘플랜 B’를 찾고 있을지 모릅니다.

But today, heaven is calling you back to the voice. Don’t jump ship. Don’t panic. Don’t quit. The storm isn’t your enemy forgetting His voice is.

So, here’s the question: What if the only thing between your survival and your destruction is a single Word? What if your obedience today is the reason someone else lives tomorrow? What if your storm is not the end but the stage for God’s voice to be heard more clearly than ever before?

Let this become your cry not a polished statement, but a survivor’s confession:

“I should’ve drowned… but He spoke. I should’ve quit… but He spoke. I should’ve lost everything… but He stood beside me. And I believe it will happen just as He said.”

So, say it again and let it echo through every dark place in you

12 “On one of these journeys I was going to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests. 13 About noon, King Agrippa, as I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, blazing around me and my companions. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,[A] ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’

“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied. 16 ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me. 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

19 “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven. 20 First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. 21 That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me. 22 But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen — 23 that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

Last Sunday, we weren’t just studying Scripture, we were standing under it. In Acts 25, Paul was
on trial, but the Gospel was the one being weighed. Some of us trembled like Felix. Others
delayed like Festus. But none of us could walk away unchanged. The Gospel wasn’t asking for
our opinion. It demanded our response.
지난 주일, 우리는 단지 성경을 공부한 것이 아니라, 그 말씀 아래에 섰습니다. 사도행전

Today, that moment of the courtroom returns. But this time, it’s not just about judgment, it’s
about commission. In Acts 26, Paul shares the encounter that changed everything. This isn’t just
his story. It’s an invitation for you. What happens when Jesus interrupts your journey? What
happens when the King calls your name?

Paul wasn’t on a spiritual retreat. He was on a violent mission, marching toward Damascus to
arrest Christians. But then at noon heaven broke through. “I saw a light from heaven, brighter
than the sun.” The very glory of God stopped him. It knocked him down, not in condemnation,
but in mercy. And then came the voice: “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

The double call “Saul, Saul” wasn’t just for shock. It was sacred. Like “Moses, Moses” before
the burning bush (Exodus 3:4), or “Martha, Martha” in her moment of distraction (Luke 10:41),
God was speaking directly to Paul’s soul.
이 두 번 부르는 “사울아, 사울아”는 단순히 놀라게 하려는 것이 아니었습니다. 그것은
거룩한 부름이었습니다. 불타는 떨기나무 앞의 “모세야, 모세야”(출애굽기 3:4)처럼, 혹은

And in that divine moment, Saul the persecutor was interrupted by Jesus the King. But this
encounter wasn’t just emotional it was missional. “Now get up and stand on your feet,” Jesus
said. “I am sending you to open their eyes… to turn them from darkness to light, from the power
of Satan to God.” This wasn’t a suggestion. It was a royal assignment. Paul wasn’t just forgiven
he was commissioned.

And here’s the truth: that commission wasn’t for Paul alone. It is ours too. If you’ve met Jesus,
you’ve been sent by Jesus. You don’t need a pulpit, you need obedience. You don’t need a
microphone, you need light. Our world is full of spiritual blindness, and the King is still sending
His people to open eyes.

Paul could’ve walked away. But he said, “I was not disobedient to the vision.” That vision cost
him everything freedom, comfort, and reputation. But it gave him what nothing else could:
eternal purpose. We must ask ourselves: what vision have we ignored? What calls have we
postponed? The danger isn’t persecution, it’s disobedience.

Yet Paul doesn’t boast in strength. He confesses, “But God has helped me to this very day.”
That’s the only reason he could stand, speak, and suffer with hope. It’s not about your strength
it’s about your Source. God’s help is your foundation. And what was the message he preached?
Not success. Not self-help. But Christ crucified and risen. “That the Messiah would suffer and,
as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the
Gentiles.” That’s the Gospel. That’s the power. That’s our mission.

So, let me ask you: have you been arrested by the light? Has Jesus called your name? Are you
still trembling in the dirt, or have you stood up to obey?

Today is not just another Sunday. It’s a sacred moment. The King is calling again. The
courtroom has become a commission. The verdict is mercy. The calling is yours. Will you obey
the vision? Will you rise and testify? You weren’t saved to stay silent. You were commissioned
to shine. This isn’t just Paul’s story, it’s yours. The King is calling. Will you answer?
오늘은 단지 또 하나의 주일이 아닙니다. 거룩한 순간입니다.

25 Three days after arriving in the province, Festus went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem, 2 where the chief priests and the Jewish leaders appeared before him and presented the charges against Paul. 3 They requested Festus, as a favor to them, to have Paul transferred to Jerusalem, for they were preparing an ambush to kill him along the way. 4 Festus answered, “Paul is being held at Caesarea, and I myself am going there soon. 5 Let some of your leaders come with me, and if the man has done anything wrong, they can press charges against him there.”

6 After spending eight or ten days with them, Festus went down to Caesarea. The next day he convened the court and ordered that Paul be brought before him. 7 When Paul came in, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him. They brought many serious charges against him, but they could not prove them.

8 Then Paul made his defense: “I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar.”

9 Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, said to Paul, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me there on these charges?”

10 Paul answered: “I am now standing before Caesar’s court, where I ought to be tried. I have not done any wrong to the Jews, as you yourself know very well. 11 If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die. But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!”

12 After Festus had conferred with his council, he declared: “You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go!”

Last Sunday, we saw Felix tremble but never turn. Today, we return to the courtroom not to witness a
mere legal case, but to face a deeper reality: it is not Paul on trial it is the gospel itself. After the trembling
of Felix in Acts 24, the story now shifts to another courtroom and another governor, but the question
remains the same: What will you do when the gospel confronts you?

The scene opens with Festus, newly appointed as the Roman governor of Judea, who has barely taken
office when the Jewish religious leaders descend upon him with urgent demands. Their hatred for Paul is
still burning after two years.

maneuvering. It is a continuation of the ancient hostility that once demanded the crucifixion of Jesus.

sovereignty, and in this case, God protects Paul once again through Roman procedure and a governor’s
reluctant discernment.

Festus wisely refuses their trap and insists the trial must be held in Caesarea, not Jerusalem. There, Paul is
brought before the authorities again. He does not stand as a frightened defendant begging for mercy, but
as a witness to truth, grounded in calling and undeterred by accusation. The Jews present many serious
charges against Paul, but they cannot prove any of them. Their hatred is loud, but their evidence is
hollow.

Paul speaks with clarity not merely to defend himself, but to proclaim his purpose. He is not driven by
fear, nor is he controlled by circumstances. His heart remains anchored in the promise spoken to him by
Jesus in Acts 23:11: “Take courage. As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify
in Rome.”

When Festus, likely trying to appease the Jewish leaders, suggests a trial in Jerusalem, Paul immediately
sees through the danger behind the diplomacy. He knows this is no sincere gesture of justice it is a death
sentence dressed in civility. So, in wisdom and courage, Paul appeals to Caesar. To most bystanders, this
may have appeared to be a smart legal tactic, but in the eyes of faith, it is a holy move of obedience.

Paul is not just climbing the legal ladder he is following the divine path laid out for him. Festus responds
with official words, “You have appealed to Caesar; to Caesar you shall go,” not realizing that in saying
those words, he is affirming a heavenly commission.

Paul is not being stalled, he is being sent. But what about Festus? Like Felix before him, he is now part of
the story, not as a bystander but as one who must decide. He hears the gospel. He stands near the truth. He
even recognizes the political manipulation of religious leaders. But he, too, hesitates. He weighs public
opinion more than eternal truth. And in doing so, his name is recorded not as a man who resisted Paul, but
as one who ignored Christ.

This is where the passage turns inward. The real courtroom is no longer Caesarea. It is the human heart. It
is your heart. The gospel is not just on trial before Roman governors it is on trial every time it is preached,
every time it is heard. When the Word of God goes forth, it does not simply inform it interrogates. It does
not entertain it exposes. It will not leave us neutral. It demands a verdict. You may tremble like Felix.
You may calculate it like Festus. Or you may stand, like Paul, rooted in faith, with a heart surrendered to
God’s will.

The power behind Paul’s confidence was not his Roman citizenship, nor his legal knowledge. It was the
Spirit of the risen Christ. That same Spirit is still present, still speaking, and still searching hearts today.
The gospel does not knock politely on the door of your mind. It breaks through the barriers of pride and
hesitation. It does not wait for a convenient season. It declares with urgency, “Now is the time of God’s
favor; now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). You are not here by accident. This Sunday is not
routine. It is a divine summon. The Judge is seated. The truth has been spoken. And the verdict is not just
about Paul, it’s about you. 당신은

one who listened and left unchanged. May you be remembered as one who, like Paul, stood firm not in
the power of man, but in the purpose of God.

that strips away every illusion of control. Paul speaks to him about righteousness, self-control,
and the coming judgment. These are not safe topics. They are not flattering ideas. They are truths
that pierce, convict, and demand a response.

The Scripture says that Felix was afraid. The message unsettled him. It awakened his conscience.
It disturbed his comfort. But instead of repenting, Felix deferred. He told Paul, “That’s enough
for now. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” These are tragic words, because
Scripture never records that convenient moment ever coming. Felix had a divine appointment.
The Holy Spirit was near. The gospel was preached with power and clarity. But his response was
delayed. And that delay may have cost him eternity.

This story is not just a historical event it is a mirror for our own lives. So many today hear the
gospel, feel conviction, and yet choose to wait. They sense the weight of truth but postpone
obedience. The danger is not just in rejection, but in hesitation. The gospel is not casual advice to

be filed for later; it is a holy summons that demands our immediate response. When God speaks,
to delay is to disobey.

Felix had access to truth. He was not ignorant, he was indifferent. Paul, though bound in chains,
was freer than the governor before him. Because freedom is not defined by status, wealth, or
position. True freedom is found in surrender to Jesus Christ. Paul knew this, and that’s why he
did not dilute the message. He didn’t preach to be liked he preached to be faithful.

The gospel that Felix heard is the same gospel preached today. It is a message of righteousness
not our own, but the righteousness that comes by faith. It calls us to self-control not through
human willpower, but through the surrender of our lives to Christ. And it reminds us of the
coming judgment not as a threat, but as a sober truth that one day we will all stand before the
throne of God. Every soul will give an account. Every secret will be exposed. What we do with
Jesus now determines what He says to us then.

Let this be clear: the gospel is not information to consider it is an invitation to surrender. The
Spirit of God still speaks today, just as He did in that courtroom. But how many of us are like
Felix? We tremble when truth hits our hearts, but instead of yielding, we delay. “Maybe
tomorrow. Maybe next season. Maybe when it’s more convenient.” But tomorrow is not
promised. Later is not guaranteed. Delay dulls the voice of conviction, and each time we
postpone, we risk never hearing it again.

Paul’s chains could not silence the truth. And Felix’s position could not escape it. The gospel
comes not to make us feel better, but to make us new. The question is not whether you’ve heard
the truth, it’s whether you’ve responded. The Bible says, “Now is the time of God’s favor. Now
is the day of salvation.” If God is speaking to you, the only right response is surrender. If He’s
convicting your heart, the only wise answer is repentance. Because the gospel, once heard, leaves
no one the same.

6 Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees. I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.” 7 When he said this, a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. 8 (The Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, and that there are neither angels nor spirits, but the Pharisees believe all these things.)

9 There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. “We find nothing wrong with this man,” they said. “What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?” 10 The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.

11 The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

Faith That Stands Alone/홀로 서는 믿음

There are moments in life when standing is not optional. Moments when all support is
gone, explanations don’t help, and misunderstanding surrounds you like thick fog. These
are not the glamorous stages of ministry or the celebrated mountaintop moments of
calling. These are the lonely courtrooms of the soul where faith stands alone, not to be
seen, but to be true.

인생에는 버텨야만 하는 순간이 있습니다.모든 지지가 사라지고, 어떤 설명도
소용없고, 오해가 짙은 안개처럼 나를 감쌀 때가 있습니다.그 순간은 화려한

This was Paul’s reality in Acts 23. Just one chapter earlier, he had shared his testimony
the moment Jesus called his name on the Damascus Road, the moment light surrounded
him, and purpose filled his lungs. But now, Paul is not surrounded by glory. He is
surrounded by division, accusation, and danger. The crowd is gone. The support is silent.
And yet, Paul does not break. He stands.

The Sanhedrin before him is a picture of chaos. Some are Sadducees, who deny the
resurrection and anything supernatural. Others are Pharisees, who pride themselves on
legal rigor. But neither group sees Paul for who he truly is a servant of Christ, called to
testify.

Christ has risen from the dead, and that resurrection life defines his mission and identity.

At that declaration, the room erupts. The assembly, already divided in theology, explodes
in conflict. Paul’s testimony doesn’t soothe the crowd it shakes the system. This is what
truth often does. It does not blend in quietly; it exposes what has been hidden. It forces
religious comfort zones to confront divine reality.

But what happens next is even more revealing. The dispute becomes so violent that the
Roman commander fears Paul might be torn to pieces. Soldiers rush in to pull him from
chaos. In this moment, Paul is not just physically threatened he is emotionally alone. He
has stood faithfully, but the result has been misunderstanding, conflict, and violence.

“The Lord stood near Paul.” Those six words change everything. Jesus Himself not an
angel, not a dream stands beside Paul. In Greek, the word used here “ἐπέστη” (epistas)
means “to come near and remain.” This is not a passing appearance. This is presence.
This is intimacy. This is the reward for standing alone: the companionship of the One
who never leaves.

Jesus speaks words Paul desperately needed: “Take courage! As you have testified about
me in Jerusalem, you must also testify in Rome.” It was not just comfort it was
confirmation. Paul’s obedience had not gone unnoticed. His lonely stand in Jerusalem
was not the end it was preparation for Rome. His private faithfulness had qualified him
for public influence.

This is the pattern of divine purpose: God often sends us to larger places after we’ve
stood alone in smaller ones. Our quiet obedience today prepares us for visible impact
tomorrow. Faith that stands alone is never wasted. It is honored by the God who sees in
secret and rewards in glory.

So, what does this mean for us? It means that being misunderstood is not failure. It means
that truth may shake the atmosphere before it changes hearts. It means that when
everyone walks away, the Lord still draws near. And it means that standing today might
be what prepares you for the assignment that waits tomorrow.

Faith that stands alone is the kind of faith that heaven backs. It’s the faith of Elijah on
Mount Carmel. The faith of Stephen before the Sanhedrin. The faith of Jesus before
Pilate. The kind of faith that stands, bleeds, and still believes.

Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

There are moments in life that change everything. Not because we were seeking God, but
because God came looking for us. Saul wasn’t in prayer. He wasn’t in worship. He was on a
mission of violence. But even there, on the road to destruction, Jesus came not to destroy him,
but to call his name.

   Verse 6 says Saul was near Damascus, around noon. He wasn’t going to worship he was going to
   persecute. But the Lord met him there. This is grace: God doesn’t wait for us to get it right He
   meets us in the middle of our mess.

   In verse 7, Jesus says, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” This was not a general call this
   was a personal call. Jesus knew Saul’s name. He knows your name too. He’s not calling a
   crowd. He’s calling you.

   must collapse. So He can give you something new.

   not looking for a debate He’s waiting for your yes.

   full call: Jesus calls your name, washes your sin, and sends you into purpose.

   ashamed. But He knows your name and He’s calling you.

10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”

15 After this, we started on our way up to Jerusalem. 16 Some of the disciples from Caesarea accompanied us and brought us to the home of Mnason, where we were to stay. He was a man from Cyprus and one of the early disciples.

Sermon Title: No Turning Back

There are moments in life when turning back is not an option. Moments when everything
in you wants to pause, pull away, or postpone, but the voice of God calls you forward
anyway. Acts 21 is one of those moments. Paul is standing in the middle of friends,
prophets, and pleas. The Spirit has spoken through Agabus: suffering is ahead. Chains are
waiting. Pain is real. But instead of retreating, Paul stands up in the face of every warning
and weeping voice and says: “I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem
for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
인생에는 결코 뒤돌아설 수 없는 순간들이 있습니다. 내 안의 모든 것이 멈추고 싶고,
물러서고 싶고, 미루고 싶다고 외치지만, 하나님의 음성은 여전히 나를 앞으로

to that kind of posture, where our answer is fixed and final. No turning back.

The first thing we see in this story is that Paul is warned, but still willing. The prophet
Agabus doesn’t bring false words; he brings truth. He takes Paul’s belt, binds his hands
and feet, and prophesies that the one who owns this belt will be handed over in Jerusalem.
It’s not vague. It’s not veiled. It’s real and terrifying. And yet, Paul doesn’t retreat. He
doesn’t run. Why? Because Paul understands what many of us forget, God doesn’t hide the
cost; He reveals it ahead of time.

God doesn’t send warnings to stop you, He sends them to prepare you. Real faith doesn’t
mean avoidance. It means awareness with courage. The Holy Spirit warns us not to
paralyze us, but to strengthen us. Paul knew the danger, and still, he walked toward it. His
life was already laid down. He had made peace with the price.
하나님께서 경고하시는 이유는 우리가 멈추도록 하기 위함이 아니라, 준비시키기

And then we see what happens next, tears begin to fall. The people around Paul, friends,
believers, fellow disciples, beg him not to go. Their love is real. Their emotion is deep. But
here’s the truth: love without vision can limit mission. Sometimes those who love you the
most can unknowingly become the greatest hindrance to your calling. Not because they
hate your purpose, but because they fear your pain.

Then Paul speaks again, and his words pierce the moment: “Why are you weeping and

he knows this: even deep love must bow to deeper purpose.

There are people who may love you sincerely and still not understand your divine
assignment. And you must be okay with that. Love is beautiful, but it cannot replace the
call. Paul isn’t called to be comfortable, he’s called to be sent. And so are you.

so I ask you again: Will you turn back… or will you walk forward?

17 From Miletus, Paul sent to Ephesus for the elders of the church. 18 When they arrived, he said to them: “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. 19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents. 20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. 21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.

22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me —the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God,[A] which he bought with his own blood.[B]

life.

And today, we must hear this call again: to live, lead, and finish like those who know our lives
are not our own.

My life is for the gospel—and if that’s true, then nothing else can matter more.

Point I: A Life That Counts Begins with Humility
Acts 20:18–19 | 사도행전 20:18–19
Paul begins his farewell not by listing miracles or accomplishments. He reminds them of his
posture:
바울은 이별 메시지를 기적이나 업적으로 시작하지 않습니다. 그는 자신의 자세를
상기시킵니다:
“You know how I lived… I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst
of severe testing.”
“내가 항상 여러분과 함께 있으면서 어떻게 행하였는지를 여러분도 아는 바니, 모든
겸손과 눈물이며 시련을 당하면서도 주를 섬겼노라.”
Before Paul taught them doctrine, he lived among them in humility, tears, and trials.
바울은 가르치기 전에 겸손과 눈물과 고난 속에서 함께 살았습니다.
This is legacy leadership—humility first.
이것이 바로 유산을 남기는 리더십입니다—겸손이 먼저입니다.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself—it’s thinking more of Christ.
겸손은 자신을 작게 보는 것이 아니라, 그리스도를 더 크게 보는 것입니다.
You cannot pass a mantle you haven’t worn.
입지 않은 망토는 전수할 수 없습니다.
You cannot lead a church you won’t weep over.
울어보지 않고는 교회를 이끌 수 없습니다.
You cannot preach grace if you still crave glory.
아직도 영광을 갈망한다면, 은혜를 설교할 수 없습니다.
Legacy doesn’t begin when people follow you—it begins when you kneel before God and serve
them.
진정한 유산은 사람들이 당신을 따를 때가 아니라,

Point II: Hold Nothing Back – The Boldness of Truth
Acts 20:20–21 | 사도행전 20:20–21
Paul says:

“I did not hesitate to preach anything… I have declared… that they must turn to God in
repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”
“무엇이든지 유익한 것은 공적인 자리에서나 각 집에서나 거리낌 없이 여러분에게 전하여
가르치고… 하나님께 대한 회개와 우리 주 예수께 대한 믿음을 증언하였노라.”
He didn’t shrink from hard truth.
그는 어려운 진리도 피하지 않았습니다.
He didn’t skip repentance to keep the crowd.
사람들을 잃을까봐 회개를 생략하지 않았습니다.
He preached in public and in homes—truth everywhere, to everyone.
공적인 자리 앞에서도, 가정에서도—어디서든 누구에게든 진리를 전했습니다.
Today, soft sermons rename sin, remove hell, reshape the gospel.
오늘날, 죄는 재정의되고, 지옥은 제거되고, 복음은 다듬어집니다.
But Paul didn’t edit truth—he embodied it.
그러나 바울은 진리를 편집하지 않았습니다—그 진리를 살려냈습니다.
You can’t pass a gospel you won’t preach.
전하지 않는 복음은 계승할 수 없습니다.
You can’t save people you won’t offend in love.
사랑으로 상처낼 용기가 없으면, 영혼을 구원할 수 없습니다.
You can’t equip the next generation by hiding the truth.
진리를 숨기고는 다음 세대를 준비시킬 수 없습니다.
Truth may cost you popularity, but it will build eternity.

Point III: My Life Is Nothing – The Call to Die Daily
Acts 20:22–24 | 사도행전 20:22–24
“I am going to Jerusalem… However, I consider my life worth nothing to me…”
“이제 나는 성령에 매여 예루살렘으로 가는데… 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로
여기지 아니하노라.”
This is where legacy is born—when fear of loss is swallowed by obedience.

Paul had already surrendered.
바울은 이미 자신을 드렸습니다.
He wasn’t surviving—he was finishing.
그는 생존하려는 자가 아니라, 완주하려는 자였습니다.
You can’t fulfill heaven’s mission while clinging to earth’s comfort.
하늘의 사명을 붙잡으려면, 땅의 안락함을 놓아야 합니다.
Your destiny is unlocked when you stop preserving yourself and start pouring yourself.
자신을 지키려는 마음을 내려놓을 때, 운명이 열립니다.
Until you count your life as nothing, you can’t count for the kingdom.
당신의 삶을 아무 것도 아닌 것으로 여기기 전까지, 하나님의 나라에서 의미 있는 자가 될
수 없습니다.
Point IV: Guard the Flock – The Blood Makes It Holy
Acts 20:25–28 | 사도행전 20:25–28
“Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.”
“자신의 피로 사신 하나님의 교회를 돌보라.”
The church is sacred not by its size—but by its purchase price.
교회의 거룩함은 규모가 아니라, 지불된 대가에 있습니다—그리스도의 피입니다.
You didn’t build it.
당신이 세운 교회가 아닙니다.
You didn’t bleed for it.
당신이 피 흘린 교회가 아닙니다.
You are an overseer, not the owner.
당신은 관리자이지, 주인이 아닙니다.
A compromised leader becomes an open gate for wolves.
타협하는 리더는 늑대를 위한 열린 문이 됩니다.
The deeper your love for His blood, the greater your fear of harming His bride.
그 분의 피를 더 깊이 사랑할수록, 그 분의 신부를 해치는 것에 대해 더 크게 두려워하게
됩니다.
Point V: Finish Well – The Gospel Is the Goal
Acts 20:24–28 | 사도행전 20:24–28
Paul was not perfect—but he was faithful.

Legacy is not built on noise—it’s built on completion.
유산은 소음으로 만들어지는 것이 아닌, 완주의 열매입니다.
Heaven honors not those who start—but those who finish.
하늘은 시작한 자가 아니라, 끝낸 자를 칭찬합니다.
You weren’t saved to survive—you were called to finish with fire.
당신은 살아남기 위해 구원받은 것이 아니라, 불로 끝내기 위해 부름받았습니다.
If you forget everything else, remember this: 다른 모든 것을 잊어버려도 이것만은
기억하십시오:
Your life is not your own. 당신의 생명은 당신의 것이 아닙니다.
You were bought with blood. 당신은 피로 값 주고 사신 바 되었습니다.
There is a task with your name on it. 당신의 이름이 적힌 사명이 있습니다.

He didn’t chase platforms. He carried fire.
She didn’t hold back. She poured it all.
Their life was for the gospel—and now their legacy lives forever.
