Cities today gather nations in remarkable ways. Languages, cultures, and histories intersect daily in workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. This diversity is not accidental; it reflects God’s ongoing work among the nations. Scripture repeatedly affirms God’s concern for every people group. He hears prayers spoken in many languages. He attends to lives shaped by migration, labor, and transition. Each person carries dignity, purpose, and value in His sight. Today, prayer becomes an act of solidarity. We pray for workers who labor long hours, for students navigating unfamiliar systems, for parents raising children between cultures, and for those who carry the ache of distance from home. Prayer does not erase difference, but it unites hearts in hope. It reminds believers that God’s kingdom extends beyond borders and that His church must reflect this expansive love. May every nation in our city experience peace, protection, and belonging. And may the church continue to be a place where all people are welcomed with grace.
